Sarika & Eli’s University of Michigan Wedding in Ann Arbor, MI

Sarika & Eli’s wedding weekend was too fun! Saturday we filmed their Hindu ceremony in Novi, MI. Sarika looked like a beautiful princess and Eli looked like a… well, anxious groom 🙂 Sunday it was off to the Big House for their second ceremony! This was our first wedding at the University of Michigan Stadium and Eli looked excited! Probably because he and his friends got to play a friendly game of football on the field before the ceremony, how cool is that! After a beautiful ceremony on the field it was up to the Jack Roth Stadium Club (4th floor end zone to end zone room) to celebrate with an over the top reception! Another first for us was working with some new wedding business friends. Prem and Cheridy from Arising Images were capturing some killer images while Rajul and Daphne from Blissful Weddings and Events kept everything running smooth!

“We had a wonderful experience with Shane. He did an amazing job on our video! He was open to edits we suggested and was very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Shane to anyone.” -Sarika

Laura & Mike’s Plymouth Michigan Wedding at The Inn At St. Johns

Laura and Mike were the happiest couple ever! Laura couldn’t stop smiling and laughing and Mike just seemed to be glowing all day! Laura was sooo excited when Mike came around the corner at their first look that I thought she was going to run down the hall to him… so in LOVE! Seriously… who dosen’t love a ceremony where the groom tears up… yep, he did:) We had so much fun getting to know Laura and Mike on their wedding day that I wish we could refilm it every year! Another great part of the day was working with the incredibly talented photographers Blaine and Lisa from Siesser Photography… check out their work it’s awesome!

“I worked with Shane and his wife, Lisa, for the film for our wedding on 9.1.2012. I found him off of wedding wire and was trying to find someone who took an artistic approach to shooting while fitting in my price range. After days of searching, I found Shane! He was awesome to work with and I am extremely glad I chose him. In addition, I want to note that we needed a piece of footage early as one of our grandparents passed shortly after the wedding. He was more than willing to send this piece over ahead of time with no questions asked. Simply the best. We will never forget this.”

Brianne & Joe’s Blythefield Country Club Wedding in Grand Rapids, MI

This beautiful Chicago couple celebrated their wedding day in Grand Rapids Michigan and we were lucky enought to be chosen to capture the day. Beautiful ceremony at St. Paul’s Apostle Catholic Church followed by a trolley ride to Blythefield Country Club where the bride and groom were escorted down the 18th fairway to their awaiting guests by a bagpiper… AWESOME!

“I received the DVDs and was in tears watching it- thank you so much! We had such a great time reliving our wedding day and I was so excited to see some of the parts that I wasn’t able to be a part of. I can’t thank you guys enough, it was beautiful!” -Brianne

Shelly & Kumar’s Detroit Wedding at The Fillmore

Most weddings days are planned for a year and then over in one day. Shelly and Kumar’s wedding lasted almost a week! We were honored to be present for two of those days. The Sangeet was at the family home on Orchard Lake… when I say home I mean something off Cribs (MTV show)! It was a beautiful evening on the lake full of performances, dancing and incredible food form Rangoli Indian Cuisine. Next was the ceremony… and it just kept getting better, the Detroit Fillmore Theater! Most people attend the Fillmore to watch their favorite bands in concert… we were there to film a rock star type wedding! After the wedding it was off to the MGM Grand Casino for more awesome Bollywood style performances, Rangoli Cuisine and dancing into the night!
When filming a wedding it is always nice to work with other great professionals in the industry. We had the opportunity to work with Adam and Heather from Czap Studios for the first time at Shelly and Kumar’s wedding and it was a great experience. I have been a fan of their work for a long time and now a fan of the people behind the work as well!

Sarah & Ricky’s Highlight Film

We met Sarah and Ricky for the first time last year at a coffee shop and the conversations just clicked right away. This is a couple who have known each other since they were little kids and you could tell right away that they were not only in love but also best friends. If there was a theme for their wedding day it would have been “fun”! It might have been one of the most packed dance floors we had seen all summer! To top the day off we got to work with one of our favorite photographers, the very talented Marek Dziekonski… he always keeps things interesting:)

Marek Dziekonski Photography

Over the years we have worked with a lot of great photographers.
There are a few that we really LOVE and Marek is one of them:) The first time I saw some of his images I just thought…WOW! I mean seriously, this stuff should be on magazine covers! Not only is his work top notch, but his friendly goofy personality is just addicting and so much fun to be around. If you’re looking for a incredibly talented photographer with a great personality you should definitely give Marek a call:) I also have to give a shout out to Lee Thomas from Lee Thomas Films for helping out with some of the location filming. Lee is another great filmmaker and a good friend… Thanks Buddy!

Marek Dziekonski’s love for photography began one rainy afternoon when his brother gave him a fantasy book. At twelve years of age he was absolutely captivated by it’s power to imerse one in a place that didnt even exist. For years he searched for a medium that would allow him to do the same thing. Once he got his first camera he knew the search was over!

Megan & Steven’s Trailer Film

May 5th officially started our wedding season this year… and we started with a bang! Megan was a beautiful glowing bride who was just so happy all day and it was obvious Steven totally adored her… he kept telling everyone she was the MOST BEAUTIFUL woman in the world! All of your family and friends in one place, tons of great Italian food and a Cinco De Mayo reception party… couldn’t get much better! Well for us it actually did… we got to work with one of our favorite photographers again, Jeffrey Lewis Bennett from JLB Wedding.

“I met with 3 different videographers when I was trying to decide who to choose. After I met Shane I knew for sure – This is our guy! Shane is a great person and an awesome videographer! He was able to have a sense of humor with us, and still manage to get every great shot possible. Everything down to the case that the DVD came in was beautiful! I got many compliments on the wedding trailer, and it was great to share with friends and family that couldn’t be there. I definitely reccomend Shane Tincu!!!” -Megan

Brandie & Joe’s Highlight Film

Filming the last wedding of the season is always bitter sweet for us… excited to have our weekends back for a little much needed R&R, but also a little sad to not have all the fun events to attend. Brandie and Joe’s wedding pretty much ended our 2011 season with a bang! Their families were so happy and excited all day, everything just seemed to go perfect! We started out at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester Hills… which is AWESOME! It was our first time filming there and we can’t wait to go back, the place is really sweet. After everyone was ready to go we were off to the Zion Christian Church in Troy Michigan for a beautiful ceremony. Last stop was Cherry Creek Golf Course for an over the top reception. The lighting and design team from GoIzzy transformed the room into something truly special. Personalized martinis, an ice sculpture, huge flower bouquets at every table, coffee and tea bar, a carnival food stand… yes, I said carnival food! So many fun and cool things… but, I would have to say the mountain of gourmet cupcakes was definitely our favorite… YUM! To top everything off Brandie’s dad played a rock version of Canon D for the grand entrance on his electric guitar… GREAT TIMES! One last thing, it always makes our job fun (and easier) when we can work with other great wedding industry professionals. We had the opportunity to work with our good friend and a truly talented photographer Marek Dziekonski… if you haven’t seen his work you should check it out!

Chris & Kristen’s Highlight Film

Had soooo much fun filming Kristen and Chris’s wedding day. We met Kristen and Chris through Kristen’s uncle Joe. Uncle Joe is a talented musician who we created a promo film for last year. Joe wanted to give his neice a really cool wedding gift so he decided to supply the band, DJ, and a wedding film of the day. Bet you wish you had an uncle Joe like that!!! Kristen, Chris and the whole rest of the family were so nice and down to earth… made our job easy:)

“Got the finished copy of our wedding video last night 🙂 Shane Tincu is an amazing videographer!!! I felt like I was watching a full production film 🙂 He captured everything and it was just the most amazing thing I have ever seen…I will probably be watching that video multiple times today 🙂 It was nice to revisit that day through his work!!! What a Party we had 🙂 wanted to dance again just watching it!”

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Shane on 3 weddings (2 for my nieces) and also had him film a promo video for my music performances. Shane is extremely professional and his work is absolutely top notch!” – Bride’s Uncle
