Laura & Jake’s West Bloomfield Wedding

We had a fabulous day with the Flusty and Smilovitz families and were honored to be a part of their beautiful wedding. Laura and Jake, presently residing in NYC returned to their roots to celebrate their marriage with friends and family. Not a single detail was overlooked in the planning of this incredible, black tie affair; from the handmade handkerchiefs Laura gifted her parents and in-laws, the exchange of personal vows to an amazing dinner at the Knollwood Country Club with rocking entertainment by The Brian Alexander Band. It was clear everyone had an amazing time, including ourselves!

Lauren & Jerek’s Detroit Michigan Wedding

Proof you never know where love may find you… When Lauren’s mother gave her a subscription to eHarmony, a reluctant Lauren found Jarek, the man of her dreams.

We had an amazing time watching Lauren and Jarek’s wedding day unfold.  When we first joined Lauren getting ready at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center, the room was filled with laughter, much love and anticipation of the day ahead. Their beautiful love was ever so evident when they shared their personal vows to one another at the Fort Street Presbyterian Church in Detroit, MI. Following their gorgeous ceremony, friends and family gathered to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. at the elegant Colony Club in Detroit for an evening of fabulous food, cocktails and dancing. Page one of the story of Lauren and Jarek has begun.

In addition to spending the day with a fantastic couple, it was an absolute pleasure working with the very fun and talented photographer Nate, of Jess & Nate Studios. As well as the entertaining and also very talented DJ Nicholas Hardy, of the Elysium Experience.

Lindsey & Matt’s University of Michigan Wedding

Rain on your wedding day… some say it’s a sign of luck, a symbol of new starts, unity and renewal. In any event it didn’t put a damper on the fun to be had on Lindsey and Matt’s wedding day!

Lindsey and Matt were married at the Church of Devine Child in Dearborn, MI, officiated by Father Joe Mallia. Following the exchange of I Dos, family and friends enjoyed self-guided tours (with maize and blue umbrellas in hand) of the University of Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. Guests were later greeted by the incredible décor of Bill Hamilton Designs as they gathered in the Jack Roth Stadium Club for a fun filled celebration. Following a fabulous meal catered by The Moveable Feast, Matt, Lindsey, family and friends tore up the dance floor as they danced the night away to the incredible tunes of the Killer Flamingos. It certainly didn’t rain on their parade!

As always, the day couldn’t have ran so smoothly without the awesome coordinators from TwoFoot Creative.

Congratulations Lindsey and Matt, thank you for having us film your day!

“I can’t say enough great things about Shane, his team, and our wedding video. I was apprehensive about getting a videographer because I was afraid it would feel intrusive on our wedding day. Shane put me completely at ease. During the day he captured everything without making us feel like we were “on camera.” The result is a beautiful depiction of our day that perfectly captures all the highlights. The weather (a downpour) must have made it challenging, but you would never know it from the final product. It’s exactly how I want to remember our wedding day. I also want to mention that Shane went absolutely above and beyond when a few short months after our wedding, my father passed away. My wonderful planner contacted Shane (unbeknownst to me), and even though our wedding video was not yet finished, he quickly put together a highlight film of my father, complete with our walk down the aisle, our dance, and his speech. It means to much to be able to remember my dad at the wedding, and we were able to share the beautiful highlights with family and friends. More than anything, this gesture demonstrates the wonderful person that Shane is, and the love he puts into his work. I would not hesitate to recommend Shane; the investment is worth it. It’s not an exaggeration to say it was the best investment we made in our wedding.” – Lindsey

Nathan & Kasie’s Temple Israel Wedding

When we arrived at Temple Israel to film Nathan and Kasie’s wedding, we knew from the moment we saw Kasie, it was going to be an amazing day! Her smile alone is infectious and lit up the room. Her happiness was contagious as she anticipated marrying her handsome, witty groom. It was obvious that this day was not only about the celebration of marriage but equally a celebration of their two families coming together as one. Nathan and Kasie’s ceremony took place under a beautiful chuppah made from the bridal gowns of both the bride and groom’s mothers. After a wonderful ceremony officiated by Rabbi Loss guests were invited into the lavishly designed ballroom designed by Dee Dee Hoffman Party Designs and Breath of Spring Florists. The celebration was well on its way as the newlywed couple danced the night away with friends and family to non-stop tunes from The Jerry Ross Band. It was truly an amazing day!

Shandrea & Brad’s Northern Michigan Wedding at The Montague Inn

Family and friends gathered together in June to witness the unity of Shandrea and Brad accompanied by their handsome son, Jett. The historic Montague Inn of Saginaw, MI was the perfect setting for their wedding day. Shandrea and her bridesmaids got ready for the day in the elegant Montague Suite, while Brad, Jett and the groomsmen prepared onsite in the Carriage House Suite.
The treed property alongside the Saginaw River was a stunning backdrop for their outdoor ceremony. Shandrea’s Uncle Nabil officated the ceremony as guests witnessed the couple’s exchange of wedding vows and the potting of the unity tree, symbolizing the unity of Shandrea, Brad and Jett.
Following the ceremony family and bridal party photos were taken around the Montague grounds while guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and yard games anxiously awaiting the reception party.
The gorgeous outdoor, tented reception took place behind the inn. Family and friend enjoyed a 65 glass champagne tower, heartfelt toasts from Shandrea’s sisters, Sierra and Stacey and Brad’s best man, Brennan. And of course the surprise toast from Shandrea’s witty grandpa, Grandpa King! Following a spectacular dinner catered by the Montague Inn, all in attendance filled the dance floor to celebrate the marriage of Shandrea and Brad.

Some things are well worth the wait… Josh waited three hours for Lauren to arrive on their first date. Three years later they were standing at the altar! No detail was left out of Lisa and Danny’s gorgeous wedding day on 3.14.15 – Pi Day. The pair began their perfect day getting ready with close family and friends at Weber’s Inn of Ann Arbor, MI.  After their breathtaking first look at Weber’s, the couple and bridal party headed to the beautifully decorated Cottonwood Barn in Dexter for a stunning creative session. The two exchanged personal vows and held a heartwarming ceremony honoring their new family with son, Brady. It was a tearful yet happy celebration, officiated by Joseph Smith, brother of the bride. Aaron & Candace’s Orchard Lake Wedding Film

I was looking forward to this wedding from the moment I met Aaron and Candace. There was so much love between them and both were incredibly excited for their special day. The day began at the Auburn Hills Marriott for the bridal preps with plenty of love, laughter and possibly a little Xanax. Following the bridal preps, we were off to the Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Grotto for the first look and fabulous photo session. Aaron and Candace exchanged their vows during a traditional Catholic ceremony. Shortly after, guests arrived at the beautifully decorated Marriott Ballroom to enjoy a fabulous evening of dinner and dancing.

“It’s so amazing and I love it so much!!!!! Thank you 😉 I’ve watched it like 9 times 🙂 We plan to have a little viewing party with our families this weekend!!” -Candace
